A look inside our centre

Life at Arise and Shine

Every photograph here is a small window into the daily rhythm of our centre — therapy sessions on the mat, group circles that build friendships, outings that give children a taste of the wider world, and celebrations that remind everyone how far they've come. Scroll through to see the range of activities that make up a typical week for our children, families, and staff in Karur.

Therapy, learning & play

Many of our sessions look like play from the outside — building with blocks, tossing a ball in a circle, holding a rail in front of a mirror — but each activity is chosen to build a specific skill, whether that's fine motor control, balance, turn-taking, or following instructions. Our therapists and special educators work in small groups so every child gets individual attention within a social setting.

Community & celebration

Outings to the bank, the market, or a local library aren't just fun trips — they're chances to practise the life skills that lead to greater independence. Festivals and celebrations like Independence Day give children the confidence of performing, dressing up, and being part of a larger group event, while giving families a reason to come together outside of a therapy setting.
